About Ann
"In one year, I was at the doctor's office 65 times," Butenas said. "Between wellness checks and sickness appointments, I felt like I spent my entire life there." The end result was a publishing company called ANZ Publications, an acronmym referring to her three boys Alec, Noah, and Zachary. She dedicated The Medical & Dental Records Binder to her deceased father, a Kansas City pulmonary physician. "I created this to keep track of all medical and dental information, basically, from the birth of the child to age 18, then, when a child turns 18, their parent can slip a $20 bill in it, slide it across the kitchen table and say, 'There, have a nice life, there's all your medical information'." (Grin!) In addition to The Medical And Dental Records Binder, Ann has been a nationally and professionaly published writer since the age of 12. She does freelance writing for a host of publications, including The Sun Publications, TheBabyCorner.com, and ThePartyWorks.com. Her upcoming projects include a series of childrens' books entitled "In My Dreams." The first book, "Grasshoppers And Elephants," will be released soon as a book and CD ROM. Another project, The Bread Monkeys, is a book depicitng her day-to-day life as the mother of three boys, written with a humorous slant to which many parents can relate. Keep coming back to this site in the coming weeks for updates on all ANZ Publications!
